Please join us on July 4th as we celebrate the 250th Anniversary of the United States at the Firecracker 5K! Come run or walk with us in Wyoming, NY at this family-friendly, fun filled event! Official race shirts* will be provided to the first 250 registered participants!
All proceeds will benefit the Wyoming County Sheriff's Foundation, organized exclusively for charitable and educational outreach purposes. The Wyoming County Sheriff’s Foundation, Inc. exists to support educational and youth outreach initiatives throughout the Wyoming County, New York communities,
including programs that foster youth relationships with local law enforcement agencies and their personnel, and to provide additional funding for related programs and services that affect the safety and well-being of Wyoming County, New York communities.

The race will start and finish behind the Wyoming County Courthouse using the proposed course below (subject to change).

REGISTRATION & PACKET PICKUP
Online registration will remain open right up until the start of the race. Race-day registration and packet pickup will take place in the large parking lot located behind the County Courthouse from 7:30 am right up until the start of the race at 9:00 am. POST RACE CELEBRATION
Join us after the race as we celebrate the 250th Anniversary of America with light food/snacks, refreshments, and the awards ceremony!
AGE GROUPS & AWARDS
Awards will be presented to the top male and female runner. In addition, age group awards will be presented to the top 3 male and female runners in each of the following groups:14 and under,15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70 and older.

TIMING & FINISH LINE SERVICES
Gun start/chip finish timing services using industry leading Jaguar Electronic RFID timing will be provided by Race Management Solutions. Results are updated throughout the race in real time and can be accessed at any time after crossing the finish line using any one of the following options:
